Hey I'm Xinran or call me Sharon. I'm from China and I came to the U.S. for college three years ago, so now I'm a senior majoring in Chemical Biology. I've joined Berkeley ChemE Car since my freshman year. I was on Aluminum air battery team and then I started my own team - chemiluminescence clock. As the Chief Safety Officer, my main role is to ensure that procedures are followed and safety concerns are addressed and prevented. Please feel free to ask me any questions about ChemE car and anything else (like how to survive Berkeley), I'm happy to answer them.

Samay Garg, media coordinator

Hey everyone! I'm a sophomore majoring in chemical engineering from Saratoga, California. This is my second year with ChemE Car, and I was on the Al-Air battery team last year. I'm also doing research work on ultrafast spectroscopy in the Leone Group, so if attosecond semiconductor dynamics sounds interesting to you, feel free to talk to me :) In the little free time I have, I enjoy running, rock climbing, hiking, doing the NY Times crossword, and watching Friends on Netflix. Feel free to talk to me about any of the things I mentioned or anything else!
